Welcome! I'm Andy Lewis--- LA-based 3D Artist. Check out my recent credits!!

12/20/09: Just saw AVATAR! HUGE achievement in filmmaking! Kudos to all who worked on it; you helped usher in a new era of movie magic!

12/18/09: Just finished some tracking for House and Castle! Also helped make Dr. House's front yard a winter wonderland with Fusion, Photoshop, Boujou and Thinking Particles.

12/11/09: Rules of Engagement needed a game, and I helped give them one! I modeled, textured, skinned, and blocked out animation for a low-poly David Spade. Also created a pretty nifty Mordor-esque environment to go along with.

9/28/09: I finished working as a Freelance Cinematic Character Artist for House, M.D. They were requiring some heavy-duty character work that was atypical for their pipeline. You can see the work I did for Encore in my reel, as well as in the Model Turntables index. Check them out! And check out the review of the show!

Review of "Epic Fail", the last project I worked on:
Studio Daily

6/1/09: Here's some reviews for the feature work I've done while working at Rhythm and Hues:

Who ever said it was a bad thing that movies are relying more and more on visual effects to tell the story? Who needs Will Ferrell when you have Grumpy?

Review of Land of the Lost by smithsonianmag.com:
"The visual effects team did a great job of making a strange lost world, but some of the dinosaurs had more personality than Ferrell did."

Review of Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian by themovieblog.com:
"The visual effects are just fantastic. This movie need to look great if it hopes to pull off that sense of awe and wonder off seeing these exhibits coming to life, and on that level the film succeeds tremendously."
